Privacy

Effective date: 2026-10-27

This page is the privacy section of the Terms & Conditions (Section 8), shown on its own. Both pages are drawn from the same text, so they always say the same thing.

Privacy and Data

  • Contact form data — The contact form collects your name, email address, and message in order to respond to your inquiry, and records the IP address the submission came from for security and anti-abuse purposes. Submissions are kept for the site administrator's reference and are retained for no longer than necessary. We do not sell or share this information with third parties beyond what is necessary to deliver the service.
  • Problem reports — When a signed-in user reports a problem with the Site, the report stores who sent it, the page it was sent from, the browser in use and any screenshot attached, and is used only to look into and fix the problem.
  • Site analytics — for ordinary page views the Site records a masked form of your IP address rather than the address itself, together with the page visited, the referring page, and the browser type. Where a request results in an error response, the unmasked IP address is also recorded, so that abusive or automated traffic can be identified and blocked; those records may be used to limit or block an address. Pages may also report how they are used, such as page load time, scroll depth, time on page, and outbound link clicks, to operate, secure, and improve the Site. Automated traffic is identified and reported separately from human traffic. This data is used solely for understanding traffic patterns and improving the Site and is never shared with third parties.
  • Essential cookies — the Site sets a small number of its own cookies that are required for security and sign-in: one used only for the management area, and one that protects forms against forged submissions. These cookies do not track you across sites.
  • Theme preference — your light/dark theme choice is stored in your browser and is never transmitted to our servers; you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
  • Third-party analytics (Google Analytics) — when enabled by the administrator, the Site may use Google Analytics to collect anonymized usage data (such as pages visited, session duration, and browser and device type). This data is processed by Google under its own privacy policy. If the consent banner is active, this service is not loaded until you accept.
  • Advertising (Google) — when enabled, Google may display ads and set cookies for interest-based advertising. Google's use of advertising cookies is governed by its own privacy and advertising policies. If the consent banner is active, advertising is not loaded until you accept.
  • Consent banner — when the administrator enables the consent feature, a banner appears on your first visit before any analytics or advertising is loaded. You may accept (enabling them) or decline (keeping them off), and your choice is remembered in a cookie. If your browser sends a Do Not Track (DNT) signal, analytics and advertising are not loaded, regardless of your consent choice.
  • We implement reasonable security measures, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
  • Correspondence — Email and other messages you send us, including their contents, sender address, and headers, may be stored and processed by automated systems and transmitted to third-party AI providers for processing on our behalf. Records of correspondence and of any automated reply may be retained in our logs and audit records. See Section 18.
  • We may collect standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) for security and operational purposes.
  • Monitoring and audit logging — Your use of the Site is logged, including sign-ins and administrative actions on the management area. These records are kept for security, accountability, and troubleshooting, and may be reviewed by the site administrator. Requests may be recorded with technical details such as the network address, the page requested, and browser information, and abusive activity may be blocked. You have no expectation of privacy in your use of the management area.
